On rare occasions, when Na Pali Coast conditions are not optimal, we present guests with a reroute option along the South Shore of the island.  The best part about this route is Kipu Kai. One of the most secluded beaches on the island with gorgeous calm waters and picturesque views, spanning over 2 miles long.

Unless you are lucky to know someone with a boat, many people will never visit Kipu Kai, as there are no public access roads surrounding it. This is a perfect spot to anchor our boats and allow our guests to swim and snorkel in the calm bay. Weather conditions are usually optimal on the South Shore of Kauai making for a beautiful day on the water.  In fact, it’s so beautiful that many movies have even been filmed at this very beach!

Other highlights of the South Shore are seeing Spouting Horn, Allerton’s Beach, and Mahalepu. We promise, the views do not disappoint!
